NFTO Chamber of EFTA Meeting – Registration now open
Thursday 13th September to Saturday 15th September 2018
We do hope you will join us in Manchester for the NFTO Chamber of EFTA Meeting and the AFT Annual Conference “D/Evolving identities: It’s not where you’re from, it’s where you’re at” …. We have some great keynote speakers and workshops that we hope you will join us for and we look forward to an EFTA symposium that connects up the theme of identity and “what’s in a name” with concepts of power and change. The theme of identity connects with notions of belonging and home. Current social and political changes make us think about what we have in common to bind us across communities … cultures, faiths, economic boundaries, manualised therapy approaches.
Manchester is the perfect location for the NFTO Chamber of EFTA meeting. Manchester has a proud tradition of struggle for political and social change and is the birthplace of the industrial revolution, the computer, the football league. Manchester’s heritage is impressive and there are so many things to do. Manchester airport offers direct flights with over 70 airlines from over 200 destinations worldwide. There is a tram and train service to Manchester Piccadilly where the meetings will take place. Direct trains run from London to Manchester Piccadilly every 20 minutes and it only takes 2 hours 6 mins. There are numerous hotels in Manchester Piccadilly to suit various budgets, the hotels we will be using for the meetings are the Manchester Mercure Piccadilly Hotel and the Pendulum Manchester Conference Centre.
